REBNY Hires New Residential Counsel, Adds Residential Legal Help Line For Members.
Neil Garfinkel Heads up Call-In Legal Assistance Line For REBNY
New York, NY- Sept. 6, 2006 – The Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) has retained residential property lawyer Neil B. Garfinkel as the organization’s new residential legal counsel.
Garfinkel will be overseeing REBNY’s newly- created Residential Legal Line, which will provide REBNY members with a convenient, centralized call-in resource for residential real estate questions.
“REBNY is pleased to offer this valuable service to its members, providing them with an efficient, comprehensive one- stop source of information on all legal matter pertaining to residential real estate in New York,” said Steven Spinola, President of REBNY.
Garfinkel is the partner-in-charge of real estate and banking practices at Abrams Garfinkel Margolis Bergson, LLP. His practice focuses on all aspects of commercial and residential real estate, title and banking, and lending law. In addition to his longstanding membership in REBNY, Garfinkel is a member of the National Association of Realtors.
Of late, Garfinkel’s practice has become increasingly focused on the real estate and financing needs of the “senior” community, an ever-expanding demographic in the Metropolitan region.
The Residential Legal Line will be staffed by attorneys from the firm of Abrams Garfinkel Margolis Bergson, LLP, and will be available during particular hours every business day.
